International students not only receive an excellent education in the K-12 levels, but also get a good quality of health care and support settings for their stay, such as living with a Canadian family or a room in a private school.
The courses are taught in English, French or another language, depending on the school and its location. Some schools offer immersion programs to learn a second language.
Parents from all over the world send their children to attend Canadian K-12 schools for a good reason: students benefit from a world-class learning environment, while living in homestay accommodations located in safe communities.
K-12 students in Canada not only learn academic materials but also how to be global citizens.
In addition to this, international students benefit from a wide range of extracurricular and community involvement activities that help them to become world citizens, who promote diversity, intercultural cooperation, respect and tolerance, factors that are highly valued in Canadian society and this is evidenced in the country's educational programs and into the classroom experience as well.
Whether families choose an accredited residency or an accommodation program with a loving family, they can rest assured that their child will receive the guidance and attention needed to succeed.
Our high schools serve local and international students from grades 9 to12.
Registered with the Ontario Ministry of Education, our high schools offer students an academic environment aimed to succeed in important institutions of higher education.
The High School program offered to students is motivated to go further in the fields of their choice. Taking AP courses allow students to succeed in their college application process and give them the advantage of accumulating college credits once they have taken AP standardized tests. Students can choose from many courses as AP Calculus AB / BC, Biology, Chemistry and Art Studies.
The Elite Program is a 10 months specialized program of intensive preparation for university students who stand out in their studies and are looking for a grant at a Canadian university, with higher honors, if possible. The program also emphasizes the need for the international students to meet certain requirements such as taking IELTS, OSSLT, volunteer and extra-curricular activities.
Extra-curricular activities are essential to school life. Students can experience various international festivals and cultural events such as the Fall Festival and the Chinese New Year celebration. We support the organization of students in after-school clubs, sports clubs and fundraising events to nurture the development of compassionate leaders. We also encourage students to go to other countries and live experiences as volunteers. Our schools are committed to help students with the best education and school life that any college can provide.
